I did not figure everything out by myself, I learned from the content makers, streamers, the communities and the other players who have shared their experience. I found the wings on my 141st rainbow since season 20 (140+ hours in 6 weeks), in torment 1, cathedral 3. I got back to the game and to farming in late season 20 and begun counting rainbow gobs. I must have found over 300+ rainbows until season 11, then I took a break from the game for 2 years. I started looking for them since they were introduced, usually late season and off-season. Which I finally got after 4-5 years of on and off searching. I’m willing to give them that if they’re willing to show me that they appreciated me playing the previous game.I know there has been a lot of posts and guides on this topic already, but just wanted to share my experience in my journey in finding the Cosmic Wings. I can live with that particular set of MTX since they would have to work on them in D4 manually as it isn’t an auto-port process. But as I said earlier, it would show that they appreciated those players that put a lot of time into D3 over the years.Īt the very least they should offer us the ability to buy those cosmetics if we earned them here in D3. Whether or not they’d ever go for that is anyone’s guess. Unfortunately, in order to bring over even a minimalistic set of items such as those I mentioned, it would mean render mapping them to every combination of class and gender option like they had to do with D3. It would definitely show some appreciation towrad the gamers that actually went through all of the grind to earn those items though. If they ever decided to allow us to go that route it’d likely work like the “Game Y checks for Game X savefile”, sort of like how Suikoden 2 worked on the PS1.īut right now this is just pie in the sky dreaming. I wouldn’t mind being able to port over some of the rarer cosmetics like the happy cloud portrait frame and cosmic wings.
